We are thrilled to share that our esteemed colleague Karla Brücknerová has earned the academic title of Docent through her habilitation in the field of Andragogy. Her work focuses on adult learning and higher education, with a special emphasis on peer learning among part-time university students.

In her habilitation thesis, she demonstrates how mutual learning plays a crucial role in students’ academic experiences, linking it to academic success, study satisfaction, and student engagement. Through rigorous qualitative analysis, she defines three types of peer learning and explores how they relate to student outcomes. Her research has been praised for its interdisciplinary approach, methodological precision, and innovation.

To mark this important academic milestone, we gathered for a joyful celebration. We are proud to have such a dedicated and inspiring scholar among us. Congratulations, Karla!
