Members of the BOLD Lab actively contributed to the European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) 2025, which took place in Belgrade under the theme “Charting the Way Forward: Education, Research, Potentials and Perspectives.” The conference brought together researchers from across the world to explore pressing questions of education and its future directions, and BOLDlab was represented by Tomáš Lintner, Veronika Babyrádová, and Markéta Žáková.

Each of them addressed a distinct yet complementary aspect of current educational challenges. Markéta Žáková presented her work on academic resilience and approaches to its operationalization, Tomáš Lintner examined how secondary school students use AI and how this relates to their achievement, and Veronika Babyrádová focused on the middle tier of education in the Czech system, analyzing communication between different actors in education. Their contributions added valuable perspectives to the ongoing international debate on the future of teaching, learning, and educational research.
