A new study titled “Revisiting Ukrainian refugees struggling to integrate into Czech school social networks” has just been published in the journal Social Psychology of Education. The study is authored by two BOLD Lab members, Tomáš Lintner and Klára Šeďová, together with Tomáš Diviák and Jana Obrovská.
The authors show that Ukrainian children were initially less integrated into their peer networks, but their positions improved over time. The key factor supporting integration was sociocultural adaptation, whereas socioeconomic status played only a minor role.
