Our colleague Martin Majcík participated in the 9th expert panel of the IPs DATA project, “Inequalities in Education Across the Lifespan: From Preschool to Adulthood,” held at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
He joined the first panel as a discussant, contributing to a debate on how inequalities manifest at the level of the education system. The discussion brought together researchers and policy experts to reflect on current data and its implications for understanding structural inequalities in education.
The panel highlighted key challenges, including regional disparities, the impact of students’ socio-economic background, and systemic features shaping unequal educational trajectories.
