She is particularly interested in student participation in classroom discourse, specifically how different students’ participative patterns are shaped by cultural and interactional norms in the classroom. Her work also involves the field of instructional quality and the professional development of teachers to enhance instructional quality.

Roman Švaříček
Roman specializes in teachers’ professional development, classroom discourse, and the methodology of qualitative research. His research also explores the philosophy of education, focusing on how these areas intersect to improve education.

Tomáš Lintner
Tomáš specialises in statistical modelling, social network analysis, and research synthesis. He is always keen on figuring out ways to make models better, to make them more aligned with theory, and to answer new questions with new methods.

Karla Brücknerová
Karla is interested in how various institutional conditions influence learning and education. In recent years, her research has focused primarily on higher education and adult learning.

Martin Sedláček
Martin explores the possibilities and limitations of measurement in the social sciences. His research in educational sciences focuses on the management of educational institutions and the analysis of educational outcomes. He examines how school principals influence these outcomes through leadership processes.

Zuzana Šalamounová
Zuzana focuses on classroom communication with an emphasis on student participation, as well as teacher training and professional development. Her research explores dialogic teaching and classroom dynamics.

Lenka is a project coordinator with many years of experience in preparing and implementing various types of projects, not only at Masaryk University.

Martin Majcík
Martin explores the intersections of education and social pedagogy through a qualitative research lens. His research primarily examines student academic failure, early school leaving, and career guidance. He also studies youth and social issues and contributes to research on supporting socially disadvantaged students.

Barbora Nekardová
Barbora focuses mainly on higher education and qualitative research
methodology. She specializes in research on pedagogical development of
university teachers through mentoring and reflective conversations between
mentor and mentee.

Jakub Vlček
Jakub focuses on research in the field of early career and novice teachers. He also focuses his research on topics related to instructional communication and teachers’ professional development.

Veronika Babyrádová
Veronika is primarily interested in various phenomena related to vocational education and training, such as professional identity and dropout process while employing a qualitative methodological approach in research. Additionally, she is interested in education policy.

Markéta Žáková
Markéta specializes in educational psychology. Her work aims to understand how disadvantaged students can overcome their disadvantages and succeed in their academic journeys. She has a keen interest in methodology, particularly in quantitative research.
